About NMS & Admission Requirements

The Nigerian Military School (NMS) is a paramilitary institution which was established in 1954 with the first platoon of only thirty (30) boys. Just before that, NMS was known as Boys Company of Nigeria and the essence of this institution is to attain discipline, knowledge and patriotism while aiming that every family have active serving military personnel.

The military school has seven bases across Nigeria namely:

  • Calabar Company – Maroon Colour
