About Civil Defence Corps

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) is a paramilitary agency of the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that was established in 1967.

They’re responsible for providing measures against threat and any form of national attack or disaster and also responsible for protection of public and private infrastructure.

From time to time, the agency recruits committed people who are willing to be deployed to various locations to assist the military in the management of threats to internal security in the country.

Overview of NSCDC Recruitment Process

  1. The recruitment process of Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps kick starts with submission of application at the CDCFIB portal recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng. You’ll be required to provide your National Identification Number (NIN), upload required credentials, and print an Acknowledgment Slip.
  2. Once the application phase elapse, the board would review applications based on eligibility and state quotas. Successful candidates would be notified via email or the portal to print their CBT (Computer-Based Test) Invitation Slip.
